LOVE YOUR HEALTH, LOVE YOUR LIFE

What does it mean to love your health?

No matter where you are in life, your wellbeing is your most important asset and the driving force behind your ability to be in the present. Here’s a little reminder from health coach and nutrition Expert Nancy Sidnam that all it takes is to start.

I get it.

There’s a world that is literally at your fingertips 24/7. School, jobs, families, social activities. There’s life to deal with.

And, most of all, there’s the stress of figuring out exactly who you are in a world that is trying to steer you every which way.

With all of this going on, it’s easy to see how living a healthy lifestyle can fall to the bottom of your to-do list. But I dare you to move it to the top. Declare that today is the day everything changes.

Take your first step.

Wellness is a journey. And it’s YOUR journey. It’s not about achieving unrealistic health goals based on someone else’s standards. It is not a competition, and you are not up against your friends, your peers, or celebrities you see in the media.

It is also not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite.

Wellness is about finding the unique combination of healthy habits and practices that work best for you. It’s about opening your mind to new ideas, trying new things, and figuring out what you like and don’t like.

We only get one body, and it needs to last us a lifetime.

Taking care of your health shouldn’t feel like a chore that you’re forced to do; it should be a decision you make because you want to live your best life possible.

So it’s time to kick the negative self-talk and self-deprecation to the curb.  Believe with all your heart that you are worth it, and start seriously loving the skin you’re in.

Only then will you be able to make real and lasting change that you were always meant to have…

And have the life you’re meant to love.
